License "expired"

Dear all,

I had to make an upgrade to my PC (Windows 11 instead of 10) in July. I deactivated offline and reactivated offline my SDL TRADOS 2021. Until December it worked.

Now I cannot open the programme on my PC. It says "license expired". My license ID is not recognised though it shows "permanent license". 

I did not know that I had to note some "installation ID", now impossible to get it as it does not show up anywhere. 

And it seems to be the only option to reactivate SDL TRADOS on my PC. 

Would somebody help me solve this issue in another way?

I have a permanent license and I have never installer TRADOS on any other computer, so I ignore why this occurs now.

  • Thank you Elisa, I'll be waiting. Just got an urgent translation request and was wondering whether I can accept it or not. Was not expecting trouble using SDL Trados in 2025 as it perfectly worked in 2024.
