Studio 2017 does not recognise Studio packages anymore

Question

Trados Studio 2017 does not recognise Studio packages anymore. 
 It does not recognise incoming packages, but still does recognises return packages. 
 The incoming package appears like a memoq file. Please see screen shot below. I also have memoq, and when I try to open the package, memoq starts instead.

 The problem is when you installed memoQ it took over the file associations. Two easy fixes, a third that may work: 
 
 always open the package from Studio and don't double click. Use the Open Package menu. 
 change the file association in windows
 
 if you can use AutoHotKey this script might also be helpful - https://github.com/paulfilkin/AHK-scripts/tree/main/fileAssociations

Run a repair of Trados Studio in Windows... that may also reset the file associations.
