We have license for SDL Trados Studio 2019 Professional. I'm trying to take over the account from an old employee, but nothing seems to be working. I reset the license and deactivated it, then re-activated and received the activation code and the activation certificate but I still keep getting the following error messages,
If I try in SDL Trados Studio 2019 software:
Activation failed. Could not connect to the activation server. Check the activation server address in the provider settings. The remote server returned an error: 403 Forbidden.
If I try in Trados Studio 2024 software:
- Invalid product key. Make sure that the product key belongs to the intended product or product version. Error ID: 82778310or
- Failed to validate offline. The specified activation certificate may not be valid. Validate your activation certificate against the certificate in your account.
I'm assuming I should be using the 2019 software but at this point I tried everything, so that's why I gave the 2024 software a chance.
It's been driving me crazy; any help would be much appreciated.
