Hi everyone,
Our company purchased a Trados license in July 2023 (Trados Studio 2022 Professional) and installed it on a colleague's laptop. Last December, this colleague left the company, and we'd like to reuse the license for another team member.
I have a few questions:
- Is it necessary to use the same laptop where the license was originally installed, or can we transfer the license to a different device?
- If transferring is possible, what steps should we follow to ensure the license remains valid?
- Are there any limitations or best practices we should know when managing in-house licenses in this situation?
I'd appreciate any guidance or advice you can share.
