problem activating trados

Hi,

I have problems with activating Trados. After deactivating the license, I am unable to reactivate it. I tried using the "Reset License" option in my account, but it did not work. Additionally, the license is shown as "inUse" in my account, even though it is not currently in use.

Screenshot of a licensing management interface showing Trados Studio 2022 Freelance with 1 user, 1 in use, 0 available. Options to deactivate offline and reset license are visible.

Could you please assist me with this issue? Thank you!

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

After receiving your response, I checked my account and saw that 'available' was checked, so I tried to activate it, but it didn't activate. However, the status in my account changed to 'in use'.

Unfortunately, it's still not activated. I had already tried to activate it using 'reset license' before, but it didn't work.

When I tried again this time, the following message appeared:

"You can only reset your license 3 times within 12 months, it appears you have exceeded this limitation and the option to reset your license is no longer available. If you are having issues with your license and need further help please click here to log a request with the support team."

It seems I've exceeded the available number of attempts. Also, in the Trados activation window, it says 'License expired'. This doesn't seem normal - how can I resolve this?
