Can't access activation wizard Trados SDL Freelance 2015/Windows 10

Hello, 

I recently installed and used a trial version, I decided to buy the software with a code my sister gave me for a discount. I purchased the software and realized that my trial had expired. When I tried to "activate" my license I recieved the error message saying it was active. since the software is basically locked out, I can't access the activation wizard to try deactivating it. please help, this is incredibly frustrating and its my first time working with software like this. I tried finding a solution with the KB articles and on solution finder but nothing seems to work. Please help!

    If the license is in use, or the software thinks it's in use for some reason, you need to get it released via your account.  With all previous versions this was possible yourself via a self-service mechanism but for 2015 this has not been implemented yet since we changed the licensing mechanism.  So the only option for you is to contact support and they are very fast.

    Go to the Knowledgebase;

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now here;

    Pick the correct route for you and if appropriate you will be presented with a form that you can fill in to generate a support request and you will be contacted, normally within a day.

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.
