I'd recommend you don't return your licence for 2021.  Just run it in parallel to 2024 until you have completed all your open projects in 2021.

In theory there should not be a problem, but I think it makes sense to be cautious and finish your open projects in the tools they started with.

While these are very wise words and precaution is better than cure, I never really have had any problems with changing versions of Trados Studio. It happened many times to me to switch from one major version to the next one during even a big job. So for working with the projects it should not make any difference. But finalising projects may indeed be a big problem, while the file type definitions do change often between versions.

Ah ok. So  running both versions on the same PC in parallel is not a problem then I assume. Thank you, so we'll tackle it next week :-)
