Renewal - DEACTIVATED subscription

Why is my subscription deactivated?? I didn't get any alerts to renew! The idea of a subscription is automated renewal. I get sent from one page to the other but there is NO option to renew :/ Please activate my account ASAP as I need to deliver work and don't have access!!

    Actually the subscription does not automatically renew, it is stated on our website as well, for renewal to contact us:

    Renew - Trados Studio Freelance subscription page with information on contacting for renewal and details about the subscription's annual validity.

    Trados does not notify you about this. And if you opted to not receive any emails from RWS, then no emails are being sent.

    Please either fill in the contact form above or contact our colleagues at trados@rws.com, so the team can create an order for you for the renewal so you can pay for it and have the subscription reactivated. Or contact your Vendor Manager, since you are listed as Vendor and you have a contact person there as well.

  • Hi Anca, I understand what you are saying, but there is no logic. Before I got a subscription it got renewed each year, with a notification. Subscription literally means "an arrangement to receive something regularly by paying in advance".  Now I am late and can't deliver to my client. Great service :/ At least put a button somewhere " Renew and Pay"! Kind regards, Marieken

    The license type you had before was a Starter and it was a different licensing system compared to the current subscription model.

    I'm sorry, this was a misunderstanding. What I meant with before, was that before the subscription you had various editions of Starter edition - until it has been discontinued and we introduced the 1 year subscription model.

    The Starter had a different licensing system compared to the current subscription type. 

    I am glad you received the email, I will let the colleagues from the vendor licensing team to clarify your other questions and help you with the order, as this is their area.
