problems with Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.2.3255 - it won't open

Question

Hello, 
 After having used Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.2.3255 without problems for a couple of months, suddenly it won&rsquo;t open anymore. 
 I click on the desktop shortcut, the usual initial screen appears ( Loading application modules etc.) but then it stops. 
 
 I&rsquo;ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it several times but that didn&rsquo;t solve anything. 
 After thinking about why this happened so suddenly, I remembered that the day prior to Trados not working anymore my computer had some updates to install. Could these updates be the problem or is it just a coincidence? 
 Anyway, Trados 2024 still will not open.
