Multiterm 2021 suddenly stopped working on my computer

Dear RWS Team,

I am reaching out because Multiterm suddenly stopped working on my computer. When I try to « Open a termbase », I get the following error message (in French): Impossible d’établir une connexion à SDL Multiterm Server inconnu. Veuillez vérifier vos paramètres de connexion

I am currently using Multiterm 2021 (MultiTermDesktop2021SR2_16.2.1.1044) and Studio 2021 (MultiTermDesktop2021SR2_16.2.1.1044), and all my files (projects/TM/TB) are saved locally. I don’t need any connection whatsoever.

So far, I have tried to implement the following corrections (without success):

  • Renaming the MultiTerm16 folder
  • Running Freshstart
  • Removing and reinstalling both SDL and Multiterm

Could you please suggest another way to fix the problem?
