I have a license of Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus and had been using Trados when working remotely from home. Now I need to work in the office and when trying to install Trados in my office computer, this message "this license edition does not work on domain-based networks" pops out. I know I probably need an upgrade to get a professional license but am wondering how the upgrade can be done and how much this might cost. Can someone please advise? Many thanks in advance.

You are seeing this message because Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus is not compatible with computers that are part of a domain-based (corporate) network.
The Freelance edition is specifically designed for individual translators who work on their personal or home devices. Unfortunately, it does not support domain-based networks typically utilized in corporate environments.
This limitation is a built-in aspect of the licensing to differentiate it from the Professional edition, which does allow use in domain environments.
If possible, please use a personal laptop or a computer that is not connected to your company’s domain (such as a standalone workstation) to continue utilizing your Freelance license.
