Yes, this is normal. Trados Studio is not a repository system, it does not save anything in the software, everything is saved locally on the computer it is installed on when you use Trados - the default for saving the files being the C drive - unless you pick a different path.
So, please go to your other computer and copy from there the projects and the files and the TMs and termbases that you need on a memory stick for example, and transfer them on the second computer and then open them in Trados.
