License activation issue

Hello,

I am reaching out on behalf of the university where I teach CAT tools to students. We are experiencing an issue with license activation and would be grateful for any assistance or guidance you could offer.
We have renewed our computer lab and the old computers have been replaced with new laptops. Our IT department has installed the Trados Studio program on the new laptops and is now trying to activate the SDL Trados Studio 2017 Professional perpetual licenses. Our RWS Account shows that all the licenses are available. However, according to the IT department, our license server indicates that the licenses are in use and it is impossible to activate the licenses.
Could you suggest any potential solutions to this problem or advise what the IT department should do in order to activate the licenses?
