I'm trying to activate my second license on a new computer. Unfortunately, my old one broke before I could properly deactivate the license, so I had to reset it. After the reset, I had one spare license remaining. I tried to use it while installing Trados on a new laptop but encountered an error during activation (I can't recall the exact error number), and the activation failed.
However, on my account page, I can see that both licenses are now marked as "in use," despite the failed activation. I attempted to reset the license again, but it didn’t work. I tried once more using the offline activation option - still no success. Now I’ve reached the limit of three resets within 12 months and receive the message: “No licenses are currently available for the specified activation code.”
I’ve never encountered this issue before when switching computers. I'm using Trados Studio 2022 Freelance Plus SR2 – Version 17.2.12.19268. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
