I have two users with Studio 2021. We have the option to upgrade the licenses to 2024. Do I need to do a Deactivation on the desktop app first then chose upgrade in the license portal?
Hi Marc,
From what I can see in the system in your account, the Trados 2021 licenses are already deactivated, so you can proceed with the processing of the upgrades.
Please make sure you back up the files and TMs from Trados 2021 - since everything is saved locally, not in Trados.
And if you have any difficulties, you can either post here or if the situation requires, you can raise a technical support ticket from your RWS account since you have the SMA contract.
