License page shows activated license, but Studio 2015 says it is on 30 day trial

I bought Studio 2015 in May 2015, with order number 382757.

When I installed the program for the first time today, the license was not on the license page, but I upgraded and then the license showed. I entered the license code in the activation window, but it tells me there are no licenses left, and when I open the program, it shows the 30 day trial window.

How do I get Studio properly licensed?

  • Hi Maria,

    I checked your account and can see both licenses for Freelance Plus have been activated today, so this is why a further attempt to use the license code will result in failure.

    However, if this is the first time you have installed it then you can run the program for 30-days in trial mode which is actually equivalent to the Professional Version so you won't be losing any functionality while we sort this out.

    It may be that once the trial period is over the license you activated will kick in and the software will revert to Freelance License mode.  In the meantime maybe take a note of the process to contact licensing and they can deal with this on Monday if necessary.  Go to the Knowledgebase;

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now here;

    Licensing Problems

    - I use SDL Trados Studio 2015 / SDL Passolo 2015

    -- I need to have my license reset

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    I hope this helps.
