Issue with Trados Studio 2017 - already activated but running in trial mode

After installing Trados Studio 2017 on a new computer, I tried to deactivate it on my old computer but received the message "The request was aborted. Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel". After going through the offline deactivation process, which was successful, and then the offline activation process, which was also successful, in theory, my RWS account now says I have 1 licence in use, but every time I open Trados, it says I'm in trial mode and there are 27 days remaining. There is no option to deactivate the program, only activate. Every time I type in my activation code, I receive the same message. What are my options for activating my licence?
