I am unable to deactivate Trados 2021 on my old PC so have reset the licence, but when I install Trados 2021 on my new PC and enter the activation code, I get an error message saying "Could not activate this license - No licenses are currently available for the specified activation code". Also, the product activation window that pops up relates to a previous trial version that I had, and not the actual paid version I am trying to install.

You need to reset the license from your RWS Account - Licenses tab - Reset license button.
Currently, both activations are In Use
Since you have a Plus license, you have 2 activations for the license, and you need to pick one to reset after clicking the Reset license button.
Also, installing Trados for the first time on a computer always starts in trial mode, because it cannot start already as an activated license.
