Hi Susan,

What Windows do you have? The activation can be done either online or offline, but it might be related to Windows compatibility since you have Trados 2017.

Hi again Sue,

If you have Windows 11 try the following steps: 

In Windows search bar type "Device Manager" and open it and then go to: Network Adapters - Action - Add Legacy Hardware - Install the hardware that I manually select from a list - Network adapters - Choose a network adapter (Microsoft > Microsoft KM -Test).

Then try again offline activation

I am glad it worked, as for my answer, you can click on More and Verify Answer option.

This solution has been posted before here by other colleagues. It's a workaround for older versions that are not supported on Win11 - since the technical support and any updated for these older versions stopped some years ago.
