On 4 October 2024 I purchased an upgrade from Studio 2021 to 2024, freelance edition. I finally got around to attempting the installation after putting it off because I expected something would go wrong.

The first thing that confuses me, is that after installing and opening Studio 2024, the product activation window refers to 'Trados Studio 2024 (Trial)'. Why this reference to a trial version? As far as I was aware, and as far as the invoice states, I bought an upgrade.

And the second thing that confuses me, is where to find my activation code. I've seen reference to it being included in an email sent after purchase, but can't locate one. I've also read that it should be available in my RWS Account under Products & Plans - Licenses & Subscriptions. While my account shows the purchase of the upgrade to 2024 in my order history, when I look in Licenses and Subscriptions, the most recent item listed is from several years ago and is my purchase of Studio 2021.
