Problems changing Trados activation from 2021 Freelance to Professional and back again

I have two 2021 licenses - Professional and Freelance - installed on different computers. I need to switch them around so Freelance is installed on my stationary PC and Professional is installed on my laptop. I've tried resetting and deactivating on and off line. On my RWS account, it looks like everything is deactivated. But on my computers, the versions are still active and I can't make the switch.

Can I just delete the Trados installations and reinstall them and start over?
