IMPOSSIBLE TO START TRADOS 2022

I use Trados Studio 2022 Freelance and I lost a full day trying to solve several dysfunctions occurring at the same time: "Argument viewPartReference cannot be null. Parameter name: viewPartReference" & "Unexpected exception when initializing view part Fragment Matches" and now it is IMPOSSIBLE TO START TRADOS !

I followed the steps you recommend : **Step 1:** Close Trados Studio completely.  **Step 2:** Clear temporary files: **Step 3:** Reset Trados Studio settings:  **Step 4:** Run a repair installation:  **Step 5:** Check for updates: SR2-17.2.12.19268

Nothing helped so I REINSTALLED Trados Studio but the same problems appeared again. I even created a brand new project in order to start translating my text again but it didn't help and I am stuck because Trados will not start !  I would appreciate your help very much because I have work to deliver urgently.

  • I understand you are busy and could not answer me yet. I had too many dysfunctions these last days and I cannot start Trados. So I need to subscribe a support contract. Please let me know how to do it in order to get your help as soon as possible. KR

    You can purchase a Support and Maintenance contract only if you have the latest edition of Trados - currently being Trados 2024. So I'm afraid you cannot purchase one since you own a Trados 2022 license.
