RWS made some updates later and My Trados no longer works!!

I got an error on two different versions of Trados, two different computers, tryed reinstall, reinstating the licence, nothing works, both versions were working OK before RWS server update

    We did not release any recent updates for Trados 2019 - as this is the license I can see linked to the email you are using for Community, a Trados 2019 Freelance Plus. This is one license, now two - it just gives you the possibility to activate it on two computers at the same time.

    Engineering and technical support for Trados Studio 2019 and MultiTerm  Desktop 2019 ended on December 31, 2022. So there is no recent update that we did for Trados 2019 since we stopped the technical support almost 3 years ago. 

    So, can you please explain what RWS server update are you referring to?

    Also, if it is a different version of Trados - not the one I can see linked to your community email, please indicate which one is it.

    Or, perhaps it was a Windows update that influenced Trados - what Windows do you have on the two computers?

    Reinstalling Trados usually does not solve errors, a repair or a reset of Trados to default state may help - workaround 1 is the repair, and then if that does not work, workaround 2 and/or 3

    I reset to basic settings and the trados works now, but now ONLY when I try to open the package I received, it says the same error, but for other packages is all right, working. I think it might be though something related to compatibility, the package I received might have been created with another Trados and some incompatibilities make it impossible to be opened at my end. 

    I am happy that my Trados is still working now, for the other files I receive!! A repair only did not work. Just the reset to basic settings.
