My licence for Trados Studio 2021 Freelance (SR2 - 16.2.10.9305) includes an extra activation which is in use on my laptop.
I've now purchased a new laptop and would like to move the extra activation from the old laptop to the new laptop. However, when I go into Trados on my old laptop and try to deactivate the licence, I receive the error message: "There are multiple instances of this application running. Close the other instances before deactivating the license." This happens even when Trados isn't running on my other computer (desktop). Trados is installed and activated, but the application is closed.
I have tried selecting the "Deactivate" button and the "Deactivate offline" but I can't proceed to deactivation because of the error message about other instances running.
Could you please let me know how I can proceed?
