I currently have a Trados Studio 2024 Professional (Network SN) installed on my Mac (through Parallels). I would like to use my License on another Mac that I will be using while I am travelling. I followed the steps provided on community.rws.com/.../05-7-how-to-transfer-my-existing-licence-to-a-new-computer to deactivate the License on the “current” Mac and activate it on my “travel“ Mac. I used the option to “Use a License Server” to activate it, inserting the License server name I had set up for the my Trados Studio 2024 Professional (Network SN) account. However, I am unable to activate it.
In my travel Mac, I have an old personal Trados account, and it seems when I am trying to activate my Trados Studio 2024 Professional (Network SN), it tries to connect to the server of my old account. I tried inserting the correct license server name, but it does not work.
I get the following error: Cannot connect to the license server. Check that you have entered the correct license server name and that you have network access. Error Details: No connection to (LICENSE SERVER NAME).
I’d appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue or information on who I should contact for further support.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
A.J.
