Activation error after license reset – "Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel"

I’m using Trados Studio 2017.
I recently reset my license because I wanted to use Trados on a new computer.

However, when I try to activate the license on the new PC, I get the following error message:

Activation failed. The request was aborted. Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

On my RWS account page, it shows:

In use: 0
Available: 1

So it looks like the license is free to use.
What should I do to complete the activation successfully?
