Failed to start and installing sdld

Dear Colleagues,

I really need help here, My SDL studio just failed to start, I never experience this problem,

My operating system is was window 7 and I have been using since, yesterday I tried to start the studio but it just shows short cut and is not opening at all

When I tried to start failed to start, I tried to repair in the control panel but also didn't work, I uninstalled the studio and downloaded new version of the studio from my account and still rejected the installation, these are the massages shown   '' An error occured and the program was aborted. you can try running/programData/SDL/Chainer/logs) and contact technical support. SiuteLoadException Error reading the suit file, 'C/ProgramData/Package Cache/SDL/SDL Tradoz Studio2015/TranslationStudio.Professional.Suit'.x ''

I though the problem may be the window so I upgraded to window 10 still didn't work, I again reinstalled new window 8 and now still the same Please any advice and help will be highly appreciated

  • Hello Abdi,

    It sounds as though you may have a corrupted download for some reason, but I se you've downloaded twice and still have the same problem. So perhaps the best solution is to contact support and they can help you with the installation process.

    Go to the Knowledgebase;

    http://kb.sdl.com

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now go here;

    Download & Installation Problems
    - I use SDL Trados Studio and/or SDL MultiTerm 2011, 2014 or 2015
    -- I receive an error message during installation
    --- I have disabled UAC during installation / I do not have Win Vista 7/8
    ---- None of the error messages match my issue / I tried the suggested resolution....

    So if you have tried everything suggested, when you get to this point you'll be presented with a form to contact support. Complete all the fields in the form making sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form.

    I hope this helps.
