Deactivation / Activation of License

Question

Dear All, 
 I have problems with deactivation of my license. I have first reset it in my rws account and waited for 30 mins. On opening Trados Studio 2019 I wanted to perform offline deactivation which did not work because of an invalid certificate and the online deactivation required a connection to the activation server, which did not work as well. 
 
 What can I do here ?

Hi Ute Specht , 
 You have a Plus license and one of the Activations is free, are you using both and is the second one active on a different computer? 
 If not, you can activate Trados using this second fulfilment and then reset the other one, which should be the oldest - to have it free for future. 
 
 Also, for Trados 2019 - please use offline activation.

 If Trados is used on a second computer, aside where you are trying to deactivate it, and is active there, please let me know.

Hi Ute , 
 Trados Freelance Plus offers the possibility to activate Trados on two different computers using the same activation code, it's still one Trados license, but it has this benefit. These two activations are named fulfilments. 
 Second fulfilment means the second activation - in the screenshot I shared above, you can see one is Available so you can activate it offline. 
 After you activate it, you then are going to see in your account next to the license the Reset license button and that both activations are In Use. When you click on Reset license, it will show you two instances (fulfilments) of activation - one with today's date which shows you activated the license like I said in the first line, and the other should have an older date - you select to reset this older one, and you'll free it. 
 So, please try to activate Trados offline and let me know how that goes. If all works well with the activation, the next step is the reset I explained above.

If it is showing Deactivate license, then the license is already active. 
 Please take a screenshot and share it here. Thank you. 
 Just as example, this is how my active Trados 2024 license looks like, as you can see, the option I have is Deactivate - which means my license is active. 
 If you have a similar view - of course with 2019 instead of 2024, then you activated the license.

But does it look like mine? If it does, then the license should be active - it surely appears so in your RWS account with both activations In Use now.
