Dear RWS Community,
I have Trados Studio 2021 and upgraded it to Trados Studio 2024 Freelance so they are both installed on my old laptop as it was advised to keep the old version installed. How can I transfer them to the new laptop. I also have a perpetual license. Does it have to be transferred to the new laptop as well?

Once you upgrade you do not get to keep older licenses long term. Your license rights extend only upon Trados 2024 Freelance. Trados 2021 might work as long as it is installed on the same PC as Trados 2024, but we cannot guarantee its long term functioning. Yes, if you transfer your 2024, you also need to install Trados 2021 on the same PC and see if it works.
