My PC was sent to maintenance and I cannot deactivate it myself anymore. The online account shows that there is licence in use but I cannot operate from any device. When I tried to re-download and install it and activate the licence an error message pops up saying: Activation failed. The request was aborted. Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. Can you please deactivate all the licence in use so I can do the upgrade?

Hello, thanks for your reply. I followed the instructions and reset the licence. I could now upgrade to 2019. I can now see the 2019 licence in my account with a new activation code. When I insert this activation code in the desktop app Trados 2019 an error message pops up saying: Activation failed. Could not connect to the activation server. Check the activation server address in the provider settings. The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

In case you have Windows 11 installed, follow these steps before activating the license offline: In Windows search bar type "Device Manager" and open it and then go to: Network Adapters - Action - Add Legacy Hardware - Install the hardware that I manually select from a list - Network adapters - Choose a network adapter (Microsoft > Microsoft KM -Test).
