Unable to accept invite to Trados Cloud tenant

Upgrade from Trados 2021 to Trados 2024 - attempting to accept Trados Cloud tenant invitation from e-mail.

After clicking on "Accept invitation" on e-mail, error message is shown: Trados error message stating 'Error activating user in the account' with instructions to log out and retry the invitation link or contact the inviter. Logout link is visible.

I have logged out and back in and tried the link again - see same message.
