Last week I set up my laptop from scratch (including a new hard disc); however, I forgot to deactivate the Studio 2011 license I was using on it. Now I can't activate my new Studio installation since the additional licence is officially still in use, but I obviously can't access the old copy of Studio any more either. Is there any way to deactivate it "remotely" so I can activate my new installation?
Hi Kristin,
You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2011 and SDL Trados Studio 2014.
Go to KB article #5196 and follow the instructions.
