Trados Studio 2022 – license activation after PC change

Question

Hello everyone, I need some clarification regarding Trados Studio 2022 Professional licensing . 
 I had Trados installed on an old PC and recently moved to a new PC where everything was installed via a full hardware clone . 
 When I open Trados on the new PC, it asks me to activate the license . 
 Do I need to deactivate the license on the old PC first and then reactivate it on the new one using the same license key ? Also, will my existing projects still be available on the new PC?

 Yes, please deactivate the license from the old PC, from Trados, Help - Product activation or reset (Reset license) from your RWS account https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mylicenses/licenses.aspx 
 Then wait for 30 minutes and use the same license key to activate on the new PC. 
 The process is described in this article: 05.7. How to... Transfer my existing licence to a new computer? 
 Your existing projects are available on your old PC, usually in the Documents folder, unless you changed the path. Trados is not a file repository. You need to move your files from the old PC to the new PC by doing a file transfer. 
 Please note you have an unprocessed upgrade to Trados 2024 Professional in your RWS account: https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mylicenses/licenses.aspx You can process it if you want to use Trados 2024.
