One licence missing

Hi, all

a few days ago, I already posted this question elsewhere to the community, but since I haven't received an answer yet, I hope, this forum will be the right one.

I have Studio 2015 Freelance Plus running on my desktop and on my laptop but currently when I want to work on one, I have to deactivate the licence on the other machine. The problem is, I cannot activate it on both because SDL seems to think, I already have it activated twice, which I don't (at least I don't remember). How can I get the second licence back?

  • Hi Gerald,

    Go to the Solution Finder in the Knowledgebase. Go to the Knowledgebase;

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder and now go here;

    Licensing Problems
    - I use SDL Trados Studio 2015/ SDL Passolo 2015
    --- I need to have my license reset
    ---- I followed the instructions in the KB article, but the process didn't work for me

    You will be presented with a form that you can fill in to generate a support request and you will be contacted, normally within a day.

    Also make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form.
