I should have asked long ago, on earlier occasions, but I don't want to be a complete ignoramus: what is the difference between a regular installer and a silent installer?

• Command Line: Silent installations are typically initiated using special command-line switches (e.g., /q, /s, or /qn for MSI files) to activate the hidden mode.
• Errors: In a silent installation, errors might not be immediately visible to the user; they often rely on log files to report issues. 

• Regular Installer: A typical user downloading and installing a game or browser.
• Silent Installer: A network administrator pushing a new office suite to 500 computers simultaneously using a script.
