2009 still working after 2015 upgrade?? / NO activation code

Question

In September I bought an upgrade from Studio 2009 Freelance Plus to 2015 Freelance Plus (I have NEVER received the activation code by e-mail). The 2015 trial version is expiring tomorrow and, as I have read that the 2009 version can be kept up and running along with the 2015 version, I would like to know: 
 1) When I proceed with the upgrade on my SDL account, will the 2009 version continue to work? 
 2) Where do I find the activation code for the 2015 version? Will it be given to me during the upgrade?

 If you upgraded then you are in effect returning your 2009 license in order to have 2015 at a reduced price. So technically you are no longer entitled to use 2009. However, if you don't return the 2009 license then it will continue to run for as long as you have it installed on your computer.

 Try looking in your account. This is where you find all your licenses and downloads. It's likely the activation code, if you have processed it in your account, wound up in your trash.
