Upgrade 2011 Freelance Plus - 2014 - 2015 in one or two steps?

Question

I'm currently using Studio 2011 Freelance Plus, bought the respective upgrade to Studio 2014 a year ago, then the upgrade from 2014 to 2015 but ... have been to busy to get any of them installed until now.... Do I have to upgrade in two steps, first to 2014, then to 2015? Or is it possible to proceed in one single step right from 2011 to 2015?

You don't need to do it in two steps because the installer actually does not upgrade your existing version, but installs the new one alongside the existing one. 
 
This means that you can simply install Studio 2015. 
You'll need however to return your license in your customer account in order to upgrade it and get the license code for Studio 2015.

This is correct, upgrading the license in the customer account means that you lose the license for the previous version and that you cannot use this license code to reinstall the software on an other PC. As long as you don 't uninstall the software on the PC on which it is currently running, you will however still be able to use it.
