I used to have two versions working side by side but since my laptop crashed I only have Studio 2021 working for me. Studio 2019 is not activated automatically.

Try the following steps:
1. Close both versions of Studio.
2. Go to: C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio15\Data.
3. Delete the Studio.lic file and make sure Studio 2021 is activated.
4. Reopen Studio 2019 and see if it works. It will work only when Studio 2021 is closed since the 2019 license doesn`t exist anymore.
