This is normal behavior because you can store your projects wherever you want, which means that Studio on the new PC does not know where to look for your projects.
Usually, one only needs to reopen the few projects that have not been finished on the previous installation (and not the already completed projects). The easiest way therefore is to simply manually open the project(s) you want to work on using the command "Open Project" and navigating to the folder in which you have stored your projects (the one you copied over to the new PC).
An alternative is to use the Open Exchange app "Studio Migration Utility", which you can find here.
But I would recommend this only if you need to migrate many projects plus some other settings, otherwise simply open the projects you want to work on.

Hi Walter, I am having a similar problem:
Just trialing Studio 21 using Parallels on my Mac. I cannot get started with a new project because I cannot find any files downloaded to the PC section of my iMac when I browse for Word files to start translating.
Any ideas?
