Licence deactivated with an anti-malware software

It seems that when I removed a malware put in quarantine by Malwarebytes Anti-Malware my SDL TRADOS activation got removed as well. I actually contacted the licence support team to know what to do next as I definitely lost the activation. Has anyone heard about such a problem with anti-malware softwares?

  • This does not occur while "running" MAM but when deleting some specific PUPs from the quarantine folder. Actually, this happened to me when deleting  "PUP.Optional.OpenCandy". Not all PUPs will lead to a deactivation. But this issue happened to me twice at a distance of several months and both times when I deleted files stored in the MAM quarantine folder. I cannot ascertain that this deactivation is related but I cannot find any logical reason why all of a sudden my activation disappears from my PC. I assume this has to do with what is call register, etc but I am not a geek and do not enough to tell. Contributions from IT technicians will be most welcome.
