Question

I upadated my PC from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 this week-end. As a result, Trados 2007 shows the error message above. I think I should have returned the licence BEFORE the update. But what can I do now? When I click on "Return the licence" in my SDL user portal, nothing happens. Does anyone know what to do? I contacted SLD this week-end but so far I have no answer and I would need my licence right now. Thank you!

Hi Luçia, 
 
You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2007 and SDL Trados Studio 2009. 
 
Go to KB article #4295 ( kb.sdl.com/.../article ) and follow the instructions.

I would just click on force return and see whether this releases the licence for you. If it doesn't then you need to log a case with our support team and they will reset the license for you. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

Just fill in the form and submit it. If you can, use the Chrome browser to log the case, you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.
