I just installed Trados 2015 Studio Sr2. The international input for English does not work. All the apostrophes are ignored by the software. Nothing is typed. Any help would be appreciated!

I am not sure I understand what you mean.
Are you saying that nothing happens when you type text into a target segment?
What happens when you type text into another application such as Word or a browser. The characters which appear are dependent on the keyboard you selected in Windows and not on the language you selected in Studio.
Or do you mean that apostrophes are not typed correctly? If that is the case, you should check the AutoCorrect settings in Studio
