How can I get my money back after the ridiculous fiasco of Studio 2015 not working in Windows 10?

Since I downloaded Studio 2015 it will not work on my windows 10 computer

    Hi Peter,

    I have moved your post into the Studio Community because this is a better place to get support with your problem. Can you provide any details around what you are seeing because there are no known issues with Studio 2015 and W10. Do you get any error messages? What do you mean by not working, is it a particular function or you just generally can't start Studio?

    Hello Paul.
    Windows 10 says the program is not compatible. Windows cannot make it work in any of the simulated XP W7 or W8 modes. Trados gives the attached errors.
    It began working but after installing SR2 not even the previous version works.

    I am not sure if this is the real cause, but can you please check which version of Microsoft .NET is installed (your stacktrace shows only v 4.0).
    Studio requires .NET 4.5.2 and normally installs it if it is not present on the system. It is possible that this installation did not succeed in your case.

    Did you try a repair or a fresh install?

    I've installed Studio about 50 times and repaired it.
    This is no good. I have never known any other program where I have to waste time messing about with Windows because the product is not fit for purpose.

    You did not answer my question about the .NET version. It would be good if we could rule this out as possible cause.

    It's easy to say the the "product is not fit for purpose". It is also a fact that there are a lot of users out there, including me, who run Studio 2015 on Windows 10 without any problem.
