Activation Code appears blank on certain PCs

Question

Does anyone know why the activation code would appear blank sometimes? 
 Example (In Japanese but same thing happens if UI is in English)

I've checked several PCs, but this only happens on certain ones. Is there a reason for this?

Hi Jesse, 
 This seems to be more of a cosmetic issue as the licensing should still work. I got this info from our licensing team for Studio 2011/2014 where it has been seen before. What version of Studio are you referring to? 
 In order to view or to deactivate the license code, please perform the following: 
 
 Go to Start > Run > Type regedit press Enter 
 Depending on your system browse to the following Key path: For 32-bit machines: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Nalpeiron\Activity For 64-bit machines: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Nalpeiron\Activity 
 On the right side screen, right click on Key &ldquo;LicenseAsEntered&rdquo; 
 Select Modify > copy the license code 
 Open SDL Trados Studio 2014 > press Deactivate > when prompted to re-enter your code manually, paste the copied code ( from key name &ldquo;LicenseAsEntered&rdquo;) 
 Reactivating SDL Trados Studio 2014 will fix this display issue.
