My name is Karanikas Konstantinos (62831) and here is the history of problems so far:

At some point last week I decided to buy STUDIO 2015 last week.

Before doing that I contacted Licensing dept. to return 1 remaining license of the 2 I had, since last year the second PC was destroyed after a power failure. I never had the chance to do it before so I thought it would be a good ides to do that first before installing STUDIO 2015. So I was notified that it was reset.

Up to this point both 2014 and 2015 versions were working fine, although STUDIO 2015 was working as a trial version (and did not like the look of it, UI (colors, icons) etc.).

My licences section did not show I purchased a freelance license/download/installed 2015.

I tried to activate the product but this was not possible since it did not appear in my purchased products list and, therefore, I had no activation code.

If you look up my licences section now it shows the following:

For SDL Trados Studio 2014 Freelance Plus: Users 1 - 1* , In use 0 - 0, Available 1 - 1*

For SDL Trados Studio 2015 Freelance: there is still no entry for the product !

I did not bother until Monday, when I had some other problems:

I use a MacMini computer with Windows 10 installed using Bootcamp. At one point, I had to restart Windows which did not work since my computer always started on Mac mode instead of letting me chose the mode as usual, I discovered that the were new software updates to be installed (although the automatic updates installation button in Settings was set to OFF). The updates were installed successfully but still I could not log in Windows. Since I never lay hand on software settings, I sent the machine to the technician for Bootcamp updating etc. I got it back yesterday, I am a happy man now since he changed the configuration so that Windows is logged in upon booting.

I had to use STUDIO today so I opened the new 2015 version and decided to uninstall it since I would not be using it (I did not like the looks of it) and would be going back to 2014 version.

Then, I tried to open STUDIO 2014 and tried to import the customer's package, but (and here is my problem now) the package does not look like a package any more, its icon is the grey planet icon used by TRADOS and the extension is .sdlppx. For some reason it is not recognized as a package any more.

Hence, importing is not possible.

Would you be able to solve this for me please ?
