Studio 2017 license activation issue / Upgrade from Studio 2015

I purchased the Studio 2017 upgrade from Studio 2015 but I cannot activate the license.

I performed the upgrade by clicking on the yellow banner on my account, but when I tried to enter the activation code, I received the following message

I did not activate Studio 2017 on any other computer but my account indicates that the license is already in use and that there a re no more licenses available.

 

I submitted a ticket 3 days ago but I have not heard from SDL support yet.

What can be done to fix this issue?  I would like to be able to use the upgrade I paid for.
