The Java add-in has no dependencies. The blurry part of the screen shot shows that all add-ins have the icon for the error state. So I assume that there is a general problem with your installation. Have you copied some of the directories instead of installing it properly?
Maybe you can add the screen shot of the Product Actication in the Help menu to see, which add-ins are activated in general.
If all add-ins are in the error state I would recommend to contact the support via http://gateway.sdl.com
