Cannot install Leo.CleanUpTasks.sdlplugin

Question

I'm having problems to install the plug-in Leo.CleanUpTasks.sdlplugin in Studio 2017 (latest update), running in a VMware virtual machine with Windows 8.1, 64-bit. 
 When I get to the step where I should select the Studio version, the corresponding checkbox is greyed out:

How can I fix this?

Support should take this on board as this is affecting all apps. I think the problem here is Studio... but I'll speak to support so they are aware. The workarounds are are as you mentioned. Copy the sdlplugin into this location: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\Packages\ 
 
If you had an old version also delete the specific plugin from this location as the plugin installer does this automatically…. so for example if it was the number verifier you’d delete this one: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\Unpacked\Number Verifier\

Just to close this off Hans Lenting , Christine Bruckner and Jesse Good . CU3 was released this afternoon and this resolves the problem of not being able to use the plugin installer.
