Hi Paul, we received a MicroStation file with the extension DGN. Is it possible to translate these file in SDL Studio 2019? We will also look in to the TranslateCAD option, as you already wrote, it might be possible to export the DGN to DXF and use TranslateCAD.
Out of the box it's not possible to handle these files, but I guess you might be able to create a custom filetype to handle them. Do you have a sample?
