When I indicate under on-line TMs that I want to use Google Translate, I get a warning that I'm sharing information.
I presume this means the source text I'm querying, but it's not entirely clear. I want to make sure I'm not agreeing to share the target translation I make.
Can I get confirmation of this? And you should clarify the warning, which really doesn't say anything about what it is you're giving them rights to.

Hi John,
There is no update facility built into the Google Translate MT provider. You have to send the source so it can give you the translation, but there is no mechanism for it to send the corrected target back.
You can verify this here as it's not possible to check the update box:
If you want to know more about what Google do with the source then this is something you should check with Google when you create your API key.
